Lincolnshire COOP.

Members and the shoppers have been collecting in aid of our Youth Cafe

Many thanks for the donation of a £3,200

Community Champions is our way of giving back to our local communities. We launched this back in 2013 and since then we’ve helped hundreds of local charities and community groups each year raising amounts from £200 to over £200,000.

Every time a member shops in one of our outlets, we make a donation to a good cause through the Community Champions scheme.

The groups are chosen by our staff and members for a three month period.

SoundLINCS.

We have been working with SoundLINCS for the production of a new charity chart single

This year we decided that we would try and get the message out by producing a new single. We teamed up with SoundLINCS and University of Lincoln and approached Cat Winter to help. The song was written and sung by Cat with the help of local musicians and the choir from Lincoln university, It was produced by the students of the university in there own studios. The outcome was a collaboration of different people and has ended up an amazing song.

Called "Don't Be Silent Tonight" it has been sent to all the major music sites like Amazon, iTunes and Spotify and entered into the UK and United States charts.

Drfax Group.

We have been working with Drax on the creation of a new wellbeing centre on site.

Working to offer more mentla health support to the staff and contractors on site at Drax power station we have a new centre that is open to all staff on a wednesday presently to come in and have a chat with our peer supporters.

Being able to work together with Drax Group as a major electricity supply company with thousands of staff has been a great privilege to us and being able to help when and where it counts shows that the company has the best interest for their staff and contractors that work there.

Gainsborough KIXX

Many thanks for the donation of £490 from you guys.

Our Gainsborough Football Academy classes are carefully split into age groups to maximise fun, development and learning along with making sure we always have a safe environment for your children. We have carefully designed curriculums for all age groups from 18 months right the way through to 10 years of age. Working with some of the U.Ks leading figures in childhood development, player development and coach education.

Many thanks for the donation of £400 that you have set up for us

#thinkaccess is a specialist access contractor with its core business in the Rope Access trades industry. We serve customers both nationally and internationally completing both full contracted projects and/or labour support as required.

Further to our Rope Access trade services #thinkaccess has divisions in temporary access, permanent access, and UAV solutions. If access is the problem, we have the solution.

Thank you for raising us over £1500 from all your police colleagues.

We have been proudly serving the people of Northern Lincolnshire, Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire since 1974. We cover a very diverse area that stretches from as far north as Bridlington, across to the Isle of Axholme and down to the outskirts of Grimsby where it changes to Lincolnshire Police.

Policing has changed greatly over the years. Today our officers are equipped with mobile phones and laptops and are more likely to be seen working from a high street café or the inside of their car than a police station. We use social media to provide information and post requests for your help and our website is becoming increasingly important in the way we communicate.

Our cars, equipment and technology have changed greatly over the years but our commitment to you remains the same.

Working together we can help to create safe and strong communities, where people know how to protect themselves and are able to make informed decisions.”
